Thyme is a medicinal plant loaded with antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties.
It is a great digestive tonic, so this soup will be great help in cases of gastroenteritis, menstrual pain and it will also help us in processes of common colds and flu.
In addition, by taking it this way, it will provide us with necessary vitamins and minerals, such as magnesium and iron; helping our immunity system for its best function.
Here goes the recipe:
vegetable or chicken broth ( preferably homemade)
slices of thin toasted bread (preferably gluten free)
In a sauce pan put a little oil, throw the garlic in and reserva a part to decorate.
Add the onion
When the onion starts to be translucent, incorporate the broth and add the thyme
Let it boil for 10 minutes
Remove the thyme and blend (optional)
Add eggs while the soup is cooking
In each bowl, we put a slice of toast, add the soup and decorate with the rest of the garlic
